An old, superbly crafted antique ceremonial knife from the Congonese Bwaka tribe.  This spectacular example has a sharp iron blade, a thick, beautifully sculptured tip, a rusted metal hilt and polished dark wood handle with spiral chipping and a nice patina. Although in typical Bwaka shape, this example has perfect form.  These were once socially important weapons in the Congo.  This museum-quality knife measures 17 inches long. $150 SOLD
